Volunteers
  • Complete Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) Volunteer Application
  • If you volunteer occasionally for school activities, completing the VIPS application is all that’s required.


For Overnight Chaperones and Volunteer Coaches

  • VIPS  Volunteer Application
  • TB Assessment
  • Fingerprint Clearance

For Volunteers Driving Students in Personal Vehicles

  • VIPS Volunteer Application
  • TB Assessment
  • Fingerprint Clearance
  • Form 28.02 Permission to Use Personal Vehicle in Transporting Students
  • Copy of Valid California Driver’s License
  • Proof of Insurance ($100,000 Liability)

 

For Volunteers Driving District Vehicles

  • VIPS Volunteer Application
  • TB Assessment
  • Fingerprint Clearance
  • Authorization for Volunteer to Drive District Vehicle Form
  • Authorization for Release of Motor Vehicle Record Form
  • Copy of Valid California Drivers License
  • Proof of Insurance ($100,000 Liability)

 

**All driving forms will be emailed to the volunteer after Volunteer Application is submitted**

 

How to Get TB Assessment and Fingerprint Clearance:

  • Submit a VIPS Volunteer Application
  • Community Resource Coordinator, Chelsea Martell will email the volunteer a prepared form using the email address submitted on the VIPS Volunteer Application, as well as a link to complete the TB Assessment.
  • Volunteer brings form to LiveScan at 18090 Beach Blvd. #9 , Huntington Beach (Beach/Talbert) and pays volunteer portion of $17.
  • District Office will advise Community Resource Coordinator when volunteer is cleared through DOJ and FBI. This can take up to two weeks.
  • CRC will email volunteer once Fingerprints and TB Assessment is cleared and they are an approved VIPS.
