2025 Japanese 4 さくら Japanese 4 students worked in small groups and created a parody of "Sakura" by Ketsumeishi. They created their own lyrics, which mention their experience in learning Japanese and nice things about their classmates to show their final appreciation to the class before graduating. This team received the most votes and won the competition. Their glow show was very unique and fun to watch. (^^)d
2025 Japanese 3 あの夢をなぞって Japanese 3 students worked in small groups to perform Yoasbi's "Ano yume wo nazotte." This group received the second place in the competition, and our guest judge, Ms. Dickinson (FVHS science teacher), thought their performance was the most memorable.

Japanese program hosting 40 high school students from Fukuoka, Japan! :) From March 26 through 28th, the Japanese program hosted 40 high school students from Fukuoka, Japan. While the Japanese students were on our campus, they shadowed our students and attended different classes. They also presented the Japanese cultural games in different classes. It was an amazing experience for all the students! :)
2024 Summer Trip To Japan! This is the first time my students and I visited Japan since Covid. In this 10 day trip, we visited Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo and had an amazing time! Every day, we had a ton of things to do and places to visit.
