FVHS Model United Nations starts off strong with conference at UCLA

Although MUN at UCLA (BruinMUN) is one of the largest MUN conferences in the nation, attended by over 1,500 delegates, all fifteen of the FVHS delegates who attended the conference were able to hold up under pressure in their eight different simulated United Nations committees.

The reign of girls’ cross country

After yet another successful cross country season, the varsity girls won their third consecutive Sunset Conference Final. They also placed fourth in the CIF Southern Section Section Prelims and eighth in the CIF Division One State Championships.

American Sign Language now taught at FVHS

This semester, Fountain Valley High School (FVHS) is offering an after-school American Sign Language (ASL) course for the first time, in partnership with Golden West Community College (Golden West).

Nozomi Mikata starts her adventures in Japanese

New part-time Japanese teacher Nozomi Mikata proves to be a very upbeat and bubbly person, excited to teach her Japanese students this year at Fountain Valley High School. Her love of teaching is very apparent alongside her love for the subject.
