Reasons for Teaching - I enjoy expanding the educational goals and personal opportunities of my students. It is also a great feeling when a student makes a connection with science based on something I have introduced.

Years Teaching - This will be my sixteenth year teaching at FVHS. My first thirteen years were wonderful and I was inspired time and again by my colleagues and students.
Interests - Being a wife and mom!! Raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (check out team "Chick in Chucks" - we've raised over $170,000 in 6 years), reading a good book, fishing in the Sierras.
Memorable Moment - Having a beautiful baby boy on May 23, 2005 and a beautiful baby girl on February 22, 2008!
