Artificial Intelligence Camp 

AI Camp is offering scholarships for their summer program. In this 3 week summer program, you will get to learn machine learning and create an impressive AI product. No coding experience is needed. To apply for the scholarship, go to this link. The application deadline is 4/18, this Sunday. With the full scholarship, you get to enjoy this $2,000 USD program for free. AI Camp was founded by Stanford Ph.Ds and advised by a Stanford Professor and CTOs from Silicon Valley.


Careers in Health

Careers in Health Accessibility Mentorship Program (CHAMP) is hosting a Virtual Career Talks forum for high school students. It’s similar to the HBUHSD Virtual Career Talks in that students can learn about a career pathway by participating in discussions; however, these talks will be centered on Careers in Health. 


The Spring program consists of a series of workshops between April 16th - May 21st, 2021. Here is a list of upcoming workshops:

  • Friday, April 16 from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Health, Fitness, and Diet 
  • Friday, April 23 from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM -  Health Career Insight with Dr. Lizmer Diaz de Gimenez and Dr. Walter Burstein from Kaiser Permanente
  • Friday, April 30 from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Insight from UCI Medical Students
  • Friday, May 7 from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Different Pathways to a Career in Health
  • Friday, May 14 from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM - The Science Behind Our Skincare
  • Friday, May 21 from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Health Disparities

Now in its eighth year, The Adroit Journal’s Summer Mentorship Program is an entirely online program that pairs experienced writers with high school and secondary students (students in grades 9-12, including graduating seniors (Class of 2020) interested in learning more about the creative writing processes of drafting, redrafting and editing.
