Are you interested to take a career focused class and earn high school credit? Below are the ROP After-Bell classes available for Spring 2021. If one of them is of interest to you, please read the instructions below to sign up. The format of the classes will be based on the HBUHSD guidance at that time. More information on whether classes will be done exclusively virtually, in a hybrid model, or in person will be announced closer to the start of instruction.
*Registration will be done differently this year. It will all be completed online, by grade level.

Will my course be virtual or in person?
All ROP classes will follow the guidelines set forth by the district. Currently the classes have moved back to distance learning when HBUHSD moved back. ROP anticipates the first night to be online, after the first night, if HBUHSD is back to in person instruction, ROP will be as well. The only exception will be Baking and Pastry at Valley Vista, which will remain online for spring.
Will I earn high school credit?
Yes. Students will earn a letter grade and 5 credits counted towards graduation if the class is taken during Spring 2021.
How will I know if I’m enrolled in the ROP class?
Students will know if they are in the class or waitlisted when they enroll online. They will receive the first night information a couple of days before the class starts via email.
What courses are still available?
The ROP website will indicate all courses available, and state if a course is full.
When is the deadline to sign up for an ROP Class?
If a class is not full, ROP can enroll students up to the second night of a class.
How do I drop an ROP course?
If you have signed up for an ROP course and would like to drop it, please email the ROP teacher and cc your Guidance Specialist to let them know. Alternatively, students can also email firstname.lastname@example.org and cc their Guidance Specialist.
