  Fountain Valley High School

151 Advanced Placement Scholars

One hundred fifty-one students at Fountain Valley High School have been named AP Scholars by the College Board* in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level AP Examinations.  Only 13.8 percent of the 847,374 students who took AP Examinations in May 2001 performed at a sufficiently high level to merit such recognition.  However, at FVHS 32.5 percent of the students who took AP Exams received AP Scholar recognition.

What does this mean?

The 151 AP Scholars from Fountain Valley High School have completed at least 53% of their freshman year in college*:

·        74 of the students have completed at least 71% of their freshman year of college*

·        39 of the students have completed at least 89% of their freshman year of college*

·        8 of the students have completed at least their entire freshman year and 42% of their sophomore year*.
