BASIC is an emerging nationwide brotherhood of Christian organizations on high school campuses. There is no church denomination associated with BASIC, and it is entirely student-run. BASIC focuses on worship, fellowship, evangelism, and learning, along with strengthening the Christian population by bringing groups together from different schools under one title.

BASIC originated at Fountain Valley High School in Fountain Valley, California, as a small group of people that met in a classroom during lunch for Bible Study. Once that group started going by the name BASIC, it spread to Edison High School, a couple miles away. Now, BASIC has become not a specific group but a type that groups can extend from and belong to.

This site features all of the high schools currently associated with BASIC and a description of each group's goals, plans, and activities. To find out what BASIC is really all about, you should read what the individual groups say they are about and what their goals are. This site is a work in progress and will continue to grow as more groups get involved with BASIC.

This site also provides contact information for the current webmasters and school representatives. Please feel free to submit ideas or requests. At this point, online registration is not available, so if you represent a Christian organization on a high school campus and you would like to be affiliated with BASIC, please contact one of the webmasters.
