Dance begins season on positive note
2/9/08 | Tera Kim The FVHS Dance Team went to Mater Dei High School to compete in the Miss Dance Drill USA competition. At the end of the day, they went home with four 2nd place trophies in the categories of jazz, officers, and lyrical, and a 1st place trophy in hip-hop.

Soccer loses to Palmdale in first round CIF tournament 2/19/08 | Brian Tran
On Friday, February 15, the FVHS boys soccer team played their first CIF tournament game against Palmdale High School.
The Barons did not play up to their expectations during the first half, and Palmdale took the lead with a score of 1-0.
