FVHS started slowly with one goal in the first quarter, but Barons came back rejuvenated in the second quarter to score two goals, tallying by halftime, 3-6 Esperanza. Although the Barons fought an uphill battle throughout the game, they drew within one goal of the Esperanza Aztecs in the last minute. Unfortunately, FVHS lost with a final score of 9-11. FVHS hosted a wrestling get-together on Tuesday for JV level athletes. The Barons dominated opponents, Westminster and Century High School. Champions forever 12/5/05
They began before the season even started by breaking the national high school summer mileage record with an astounding 17,500 miles. They became repeat Sunset League champions and placed in the top 20 teams in the United States for the second consecutive year.
