The overcast day started off with the occasional sprinkle of rain here and there. But as soon as Stefy Rae and her band began playing, the sky cleared and the hundreds of Barons lunching turned their attention to the band.
Stefy began their mini-concert at the Bowl with three songs from their new CD, The Orange Album. An eclectic mix of pop, new wave, and electronica music, Stefy consists of Stefy Rae (lead vocals), Jason Gaviati (keyboards), Sean Meyer (guitars), and Andreas Brobjer (drums). They brought their performance to a close with their first single, "Chelsea," which was chosen for the soundtrack to the movie, John Tucker Must Die.
Many students didn't know the band, but quickly lined up after their performance for autographs and pictures.
