There's more Scary where that came from

Remember the great box office hits like Matrix and Scream ? Remember how they brought the action and thriller genres to a whole new level? Remember how one movie took those same movies and made them into a non-stop laugh fest? The Scary Movie team has hit once again with its latest installment of the movie series, Scary Movie 4 .

In this new movie, movies such as Saw , The Grudge , Million Dollar Baby , and even The Village all took a part in this humorous replay of past events. Just as before, these past movies have all been woven into one intricate piece of work where the laughs do not stop.

With new cast members and guest appearances from popular stars such as Shaquille O'Neal, this movie was a big hit with the audiences during its first weekend at the box office. Premiering on Easter weekend, this movie brought more opening weekend profits than any other movie created by the Miramax bosses. With 41 million, who could complain? This brought Ice Age 2: the Meltdown to number two; the final sum for Ice Age 2 during its 2nd weekend was 147.2 million.

The success of this new scary spoof has brought the producers, the Weinsteins, to start filming Scary Movie 5 and to have it released by next Easter. With so many profits, expect Scary Movies 6-10 .

So for all of you Scary Movie fans, the scary movie parodies will not stop any time soon and you can expect to see the summer blockbuster horror films to be ripped to shreds with the next Scary Movie .
