Reasons for Teaching - I enjoy expanding the educational goals and personal opportunities of my students. It is also a great feeling when a student makes a connection with science based on something I have introduced.

Years Teaching - This will be my 18th year teaching at FVHS. My first 17 years were wonderful and I was inspired time and again by my colleagues and students.

Interests - Being a wife and mom!! Raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in memory of my sister-in-law Erica (check out team "Chick in Chucks" - we've raised over $200,000 in 7 years), reading a good book, fishing in the Sierras.
